WhyToshiba PA2467U battery dies in Seconds?

Question:I have a Toshiba PA2467U battery that will be fine when it’s plugged in but when I unplug it, the charge lasts about 1 minute and my computer just shuts off. I’ve checked to see if my battery is on the recall list, but luckly its not….or at least I didn’t think it is. What are my options for conserving battery life while its not plugged in? Do I just have to buy a new battery? Thanks! Answer:The battery is toast. You can contactASUS to see what they can do to assist you in a replacement — but unless you have a warranty still in place, its likely you will be purchasing a new battery for it.
