how to replace the dead battery

Quesxtion:I'v read an instruction in a comercial site that how to replace the dead Laptop battery in the battery pack with new cells and I did but now the Acer battery output is 0 volt while every single battery shows 3.8V. my laptop is Acer Aspire 1680 Series and I am confident about repaired connections. Answer:Make sure you connected the batteries in parallel or series, as instructed. Also you need to charge them. But I think there is some connection problem. Question:Everybody seems to have a different answer regarding when and how often you should charge your Laptop battery .I use mine plugged in 95% of the time. When I am using it while plugged in, is the Compaq battery being recharged? Or once the Armada E500 battery reaches 100%, the recharging stops completely? Should I use it unplugged occasionally, just to let the battery go down and recharge it? Answer:Yes of course always in constantly charging whileplugged in.Best of luck.
