how to replace the dead battery

Quesxtion:I'v read an instruction in a comercial site that how to replace the dead Laptop battery in the battery pack with new cells and I did but now the Acer battery output is 0 volt while every single battery shows 3.8V. my laptop is Acer Aspire 1680 Series and I am confident about repaired connections. Answer:Make sure you connected the batteries in parallel or series, as instructed. Also you need to charge them. But I think there is some connection problem.
