IBM T60 battery

Question: I got my laptop 2 year ago, i usually have it connected but when i want use it portably it runs out fast. i have an IBM T60 Entertainment Notebook PC.please help me with a logical or especific answer. Answer:Battery life is a direct function of the load placed on it. Some systems use more power than others and some batteries can supply more current than others.Try to reduce brightness, CPU speed and turn of the hard drive to save power. These can be set by the power options utility (lower right corner).
