Laptop battery question for Toshiba PA3248U-1BRS battery?

Question:I replaced the battery with an approved replacement but it will not charge.When the set up screens comes up and says it does not recognize the battery and will not charge it. The replacement isToshiba PA3248U-1BRS batterywhich is the same as the one replaced. 10 inch if you can help me Answer:I would try calling Toshiba laptop battery tech support. They may have sent you the wrong battery or maybe there is some way that you have to activate it. There could be a piece of plastice over the metal conectors on the batteries. As so there have some good batteries you can choose: Acer TravelMate 291LCi battery , Acer Aspire 2003 battery , Acer TravelMate 2355LCi battery , Acer Aspire 2001LMi battery , Acer Aspire 2002 battery .
