Laptop with Solar Charged Battery need Enviro Friendly?I have a extra Toshiba PA2487U battery .

Question:In the long run, will using a solar charger and buying an extra Toshiba PA2487U battery(so I can charge one battery while using the other) for my laptop be more or less enviro friendly? Specifically, will the benifit of using the solar charger outweigh the cost to the environment of producing the extra battery and then possible of it in the future? Answer:My professor once told me that there is no such thing as free energy. To create a solar powered battery, it will take an emmense amount of energy to make the products that go into it. In the end, the components will break down from normal wear and tear and you will have to get another one. In order to show you an example of what I mean, did you know how much energy it takes to make a 12 oz coke can? Enough energy for you to watch your TV for 3 hours, and that is just for an aluminum 12 oz can, imagine what all goes into making a solar powered battery system. But about you can choose this battery make extra battery:sony VGP-BPS2 battery , sony VGP-BPS3 battery , sony PCGA-BP71 battery , sony VGP-BPS1 battery , sony VGP-BPL5A battery, ASUS M9A battery , ASUS M9F battery , ASUS M9J battery , ASUS M9V battery , ASUS S5 battery. That way is best .
