My question is how to charge about HP Omnibook XE3 battery?

Question:Am HP Omnibook XE3 battery illiterate abd wanted to confirm something. I’m buy this laptop one year. It stated that adapter/charger was included. Is the charger a separate item or is it on the same cord as the adapter. I am thinking I only received the adapter. Is the charger the rectangular box? If so, does it charge automatically when you have it plugged in. There is no manual to refer to. Thanks. There is no stand-alone charger nor dedicated cable for charging the.If the battery does not charge while your using the laptop with the power adapter cable, then most likely the battery is old and can no longer hold a charge. You will have to buy a replacement(Acer BATCL50L4 battery , Acer BATCL50L battery , Acer BTP-43D1 battery , Acer BTP-550P battery , Acer BTP-63D1 battery )and take the old battery to a recycling center for proper disposal. Don’t throw the old battery away that you will poison the environment.
