My sony PCGA-BPZ52 battery’s life

Question:My sony PCGA-BPZ52 battery when fully charged only lasts about 30 mins. Is this normal or do I need a new battery? Anything else I can do to improve battery life?would you help me! Answer:Depend on what you are using it for. Running games, playing movies etc will all run out your battery life. Also, are you running Vista, if so the toshiba power saver will not be running so use the windows one, and change it from higher power to balanced. You can tinker further with the default settings if you wish . Finally, with all laptops you should run it just on batteries and let it discharge fully at least once a month. If you haven’t been doing this then this will account for poor battery life as they wear out quicker.I suggest you buy this battery to use:Apple A1078 battery , Apple A1008 battery , Apple A1079 battery , Apple A1060 battery , Apple A1148 battery , Apple M8244 battery.I think you like this because there are will last longer life.
