My ASUS A2000 battery doesn’t last longer life?

Question: I bought my current laptop 2 years ago, ASUS A2000 battery with Centrino Technology (not the current Duo one). It is supposed to last 7 hours fully charged, but now it only last about 3 - 4 hours.I should buy new one? Answer: Batteries never last as long as they’re supposed to. They only last that long under certain conditions. To get a battery that lasts longer is expensive. For example, whatever you’re current battery costs + and extra $100 = 1 to 1.5 additional hours of battery life. Is that extra 1 hour of battery life that important to you? If the answer is yes, then contact your computer manufacturer and they’ll hook you up.
